Our History
David J. Surdukan grew up the son of a City Engineer in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In 1976, fresh out of high school, David began surveying locally in Iowa. But in the early 1980’s, a job with a pipeline company opened up and David surveyed his way down to Texas. The Texas charm was too strong for David to resist, and when the project completed, he found a new home at Vilbig and Associates. By 1987, David was a licensed Registered Professional Land Surveyor with the state of Texas. In 1994, David founded Surdukan Surveying, Inc. and the family tradition began. Today, David, his sons Brent and Nick, and Grandson Gabriel are all members of the Surdukan Surveying, Inc. team. Surdukan Surveying Inc. is more than a company, it's a family tradition and it’s our way of life.
